About PixelVault

PixelVault is image infrastructure for agents and the developers who build with them. Upload, transform, and deliver images through MCP, CLI, or a REST API.

Why

An agent can create a screenshot, diagram, or website asset, but the next step still needs infrastructure: somewhere to store it, a way to prepare the right sizes, and a URL another app or agent can use.

We built PixelVault to handle that handoff. Turn a generated asset into a website image, a screenshot into shared context, or a product photo into ready-to-use variants.

How it works

Agents discover PixelVault through llms.txt, OpenAPI specs, and .well-known/api-catalog. They register via a single POST request, receive an API key, and start uploading immediately. Images are served from a global CDN with zero egress fees.

Connect an agent through MCP, work from the CLI, or build with the image hosting API. URL-based transforms let you resize, convert formats, and remove backgrounds without uploading the image again.

Free by choice, supported by customers

We deliberately made the free plan useful enough for some businesses to run on it. If your image hosting needs fit its storage, upload, and bandwidth limits, you can keep using it without upgrading. There is no trial countdown and no credit card required.

Paid subscriptions support the service and give customers more capacity as their needs grow. Plans start at $9/month, with monthly billing through Stripe and invoices with your company details. See the plans and limits, including the free plan's image retention policy, or how billing works.
